About

Marc Glesener was born in 1969 in Esch-sur-Alzette, Grand Duchy of Luxembourg. He studied Law for one year at Metz University and, from 1992 to 2012, worked as a journalist for the country’s largest daily newspaper, “Luxemburger Wort” (published by saint-paul Luxembourg), where he held numerous positions amongst others editor in chief at LW; 2011 – August 2012 and Chief Content Officer at saint-paul.

From 2000 to 2001, Marc Glesener was Secretary General of the Parliamentary Group CSV. Between 2004 and 2008, he held the post of President of the Union des Journalistes du Luxembourg (UJL). He was Vice-President of the Luxembourg Press Council from 2008 to 2010.

In 2011 Marc Glesener completed the Advanced Management Program (AMP) at Harvard Business School.

He has published articles in numerous international newspapers and magazines, was co-author, together with François Biltgen, of „En quête de cohésion“ (spl 2007), as well as co-editor of „Der Euro – turbulente Zeiten“ (spl 2012). He is also a guest commentator on RTL Radio Lëtzebuerg (cartes blanches).

In September 2012, Marc Glesener founded the media consulting agency M(a)Gsolutions.
